The first ever Resource Revolution Awards were held in London in May, an industry highpoint in what has been a truly
inspiring campaign organised by sister titles edie.net and Local Authority Waste & Recycling magazine.
Sponsored by Carbon Trust, he Resource Revolution Awards 2013 heralded a seismic shift in the waste and resources industry.
Designed to recognise and reward those who are revolutionising the concept of waste and the way society deals with it,
competition for the seven awards has been fierce and the calibre of entries incredibly high.
After months of suspense, during which time our panel of industry judges carefully weighed up each shortlisted entry, we are
delighted to finally announce the seven winners, the highly commended and those that merit special mention for their exemplary
action.
Hosted by TV presenter and sustainability champion Oliver Heath, these inaugural awards not only provide a fitting end to the
first six months of the Resource Revolution campaign, but set the stage for the next phase…
