Most of the excavations and prepara-
tory work have been completed for
Southern Water's state-of-the-art
water treatment works in Woolston,
Southampton.
Demolition of the redundant struc-
tures on the site was completed last
spring, with the excavation and pre-
paratory groundworks for the perma-
nent works making significant progress
during the summer. Autumn saw the
start of construction of concrete struc-
tures and the installation of bespoke
designed pre-cast concrete units.
