www.wwtonline.co.uk | AUGUST 2018 | 35 LQ800 Multi Channel Water Analyser Controller The LQ800 is designed to provide a complete analyti- cal fl uid measurement and process solution and can operate with up to eight digital analytical and process sensors. The measurement parameter options include more than 50 unique sepa- rate liquid measurement sensors including: pH, ORP, conductivity, resistivity, dis- solved oxygen, selective ion, turbidity, fl ow and also level, alongside many other fl uid analytical measurements. The LQ800 Controller digi- tally communicates with any ECD Intelligent Sensor. OTHER TOP PICKS Next month: actuators, motors and drives THE DETAILS OTT Hydromet SVR 100 ● non-contact surface velocity radar (SVR) sensor ● designed for measuring fl ow in open channels and rivers ● uses Doppler eff ect to measure surface velocity from 0.02 to 15 m/s with ± 0.01 m/s accuracy What is it for? The SVR100 is a non- contact sensor which uses radar to measure fl ow in streams, rivers and open channels where reliable velocity data is required continuously; it can be used during fl oods and periods of high concentrations of suspended sediments. What's good about it? Designed for reliability and simplicity, the instrument is IP68 rated, which means it is extremely rugged and would survive complete immersion, but it is located above the water fl ow and therefore protected from storms and fl oods. The SVR 100 is quick and easy to install in unobtrusive locations, with staff not usually required to enter the water, and once installed it operates on extremely low power, and can run from a solar powered rechargeable battery, with no ongoing requirement for calibration or maintenance. What do they say? OTT Hydromet's Christel Valentine: "The main advantage of the SVR 100 is its ability to measure accurately and reliably across a wide range of conditions, but especially in severe weather incidents where there is a risk of fl ooding." The Knowledge Flow monitoring and analysis Blancett B3100 Flow Monitor The B3100 fl ow monitor from US manufacturer Blancett is now available from Bell Flow Systems. It features advanced ap- plication options with user-friendly "thru-glass" operation, utilising fi nger proximity detecting buttons. Data logging, remote data access and programming are available without the need to open the enclosure, ensur- ing application integrity in demanding installations. The B3100 is explosion-proof in accordance with ATEX, IECEx, FM and CSA c-us, and the programming so ware allows for easy remote con- fi guration. Xylem Flygt EMF801 MagFlux Flowmeter and MagFlux Quad Xylem has launched two new fl owmeters that integrate with the Flygt range of pumps and control devices. The Flygt EMF801 MagFlux Flowmeter and the MagFlux Quad off er an accuracy of 0.25 per cent, even when measuring slow fl ow velocity as low as 0.2m/sec, through to highs of 10m/sec. The in- built data logger is capable of recording 20,000 entries, giving both an accurate and a consistent reading when measuring fl ow where space is a premium. Designed with fl exibility in mind, the Flygt EMF801 MagFlux Flowmeter and the MagFlux Quad come in a full range of sizes. PRODUCT OF THE MONTH
