PERU Peru is promising a National Desalination Plan, and is welcoming private investment into the sector. Public-private partnerships have previously worked well in capital city Lima, and more are likely to follow. ARGENTINA Argentina's national government introduced a huge programme of investment in infrastructure in 2016, including a National Water Plan that spans the coming decade. In September 2017, the Interior Ministry invited proposals for building and fi nancing $9.5 billion in water infrastructure projects.
