This stormwater pumping station on
the Isle of Dogs was built for Thames
Water between 1986 and 1988, and
is the first postmodern building to
achieve listed status as part of Herit-
age England's postmodernism project.
The Grade-II*-listed building,
with its decorated façade and ornate
columns, is the work of John Outram.
