16 | 2ND - 8TH JUNE 2017 | UTILITY WEEK Operations & Assets High viz Severn Trent is in the process of commissioning its second anaerobic digestion plant, at Roundhill near Birmingham. Once in full operation the plant will take in 48,500 tonnes a year of food waste from a variety of industrial contracts such as supermarkets and restaurants. It is estimated the plant will produce 8.5 million m 3 of biogas, which can be converted into 40GWh Food that's good for digestion
