Wirsol Energy has successfully
completed the connection of 19 solar
parks funded by approximately
£88 million of debt financing ahead of
the 31 March Renewables Obligation
deadline.
The 19 solar sites located in
England and Northern Ireland total
105.5MWp and range in output from
20.5MWp to 2.5MWp. Power purchase
agreements have been signed with
Statkra and Power NI.
The debt financing was provided
by Bayerische Landesbank, which
has now financed more than 1GW of
capacity in the UK market.
