Products Parker On-Line THM Analyser ● Accurate monitoring of THMs for water quality ● Integrated purge and trap system with gas chromatograph ● Small NEMA 4X enclosure ● Operating temperature of 5-400C ● Universal AC input, 24 VDC internal Focus on…Analysis What it is: Parker Hannifin, the global specialist in motion and control technologies, is launching two innovative THM (Trihalomethane) analysers at the WWEM exhibition in Telford on 2-3 November: the Parker Portable THM Analyser and the On-Line THM Analyser. Both enable accurate monitoring of water quality, without the need for manual sampling, laboratories or use of reagents. How it works: Both models feature an integrated Purge-and-Trap system connected to a Gas Chromatograph (GC) that provides a self-contained solution for highly effective measurement and analysis of THM concentration levels. The On-Line version provides real-time sampling for water quality optimisation through use of a fully automated, SCADA interfaceable analyser, which facilitates remote operation and data trending capabilities. What's so good about it? The Portable THM Analyser is capable of analysing samples in less than 30 minutes, with no reagents or sample preparation. This eliminates expensive and time consuming off-site lab analysis. Operators can use the rapid feedback to make immediate process adjustment to improve water quality. Viledon ChemWatch The new Viledon ChemWatch online monitoring service detects and protects against corrosive gases and is ideal for switchgear and control rooms where it can protect electronic and process equipment. Made by Freudenberg Filtration Technologies, it features corrosion sensors stretched right across its surface by means of sensor boards: one made of copper and one of silver. Corrosion changes electrical resistance, which is periodically measured on the boards and compared with a reference value. ChemWatch also detects room temperature, humidity and pressure. FerroCheck Magnetometer The FerroCheck portable magnetometer from Spectro Scientific provides accuracy and convenience in measurement of total ferrous wear particulates in lubricating fluids. FerroCheck enables users to perform accurate measurements of ferrous wear particles, both in the field and in the lab, and works by sensing disruption of a magnetic field that is generated due to the presence of ferrous debris, specifically iron. Operation involves simply drawing the sample, placing it in the instrument and using the touchscreen to complete the analysis and view the results. SEAL SmartBlock II and AQ400 SEAL Analytical has launched a new range of digestion blocks, manufactured by SEAL under the Thomas Cain brand, which are ideal for metals analysis. With a new sleek design and a range that includes 36, 60 and 96 position blocks for 100ml, 50ml and 15ml vials, the SmartBlock II instruments are also priced very competitively. The vials undergo rigorous testing to ensure that they are free from any contamination. SEAL also markets an automated discrete analyser, the AQ400, which provides fast, high-throughput analysis with improved reproducibility and greater flexibility.
