Unpacking arts and cras from South America in a warehouse in Bath. I've still got some of the wooden parrots more than 30 years later. What are the best and worst parts of your job? The best part is engaging with people and letting them know the direction that the business is heading in and our chal- lenges and hearing their ideas on how best to keep the lights on and provide the best service to our customers. The worst part is the volume of emails that I have to deal with – I wonder if people have forgot- ten how to pick up the phone. What's your dream job and why? I always wanted to work abroad, somewhere like Menorca. It's a beautiful part of the world and a very relaxing place to live and work. Then again, what does Menorca have that the North West doesn't? What's your most treasured possession? My music collection – I get at least two new albums a week. In the Hollywood film of your life, who would play you? Woody Harrelson – on a good day for me and a bad day for him, I've been told there's a slight resemblance. What album is currently in your car CD player? Alternative Light Source by Lefield. What's your favourite film and TV programme? Film: One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. TV: Veep. What quote or saying do you most overuse? "Absolutely" – I drive myself mad with it, once I realise that I'm saying it. If you ruled the world, what would you do first? Ask myself "who put me in charge?"
