More information: http://www.terrapinn.com Reader of the week Dominic Thasarathar, industry program manager, Autodesk "Trying to predict how technology might change the way infrastructure is designed, delivered and managed keeps me riveted" What was your first job? Working in the computing department of a merchant bank in the City of London. What are the best and worst parts of your job? The best part is meeting industry executives from around the world; the challenges and opportunities the construction and energy industries face are seemingly generic globally, but the nuances and subtleties of different markets brings them to life. The worst part is spending time in airports. What's your dream job and why? Professionally I'm very lucky. My job is fantastically interesting. Trying to predict the future and how technology might change the way infrastructure is designed, delivered and managed keeps me riveted. Otherwise, perhaps fishing in Australia. What's your most treasured possession? Time (or lack thereof!). In the Hollywood film of your life, who would play you? Probably somebody obscure, on a straight-to-DVD release… What album is currently in your car CD player? I'm currently feeling nostalgic for early synth' music, so it's Glimmer: Best of John Foxx. What's your favourite film and TV programme? Film: Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels; TV: Only Fools and Horses. What quote or saying do you most overuse? "Yes." If you ruled the world, what would you do first? Abdicate. What's your favourite joke? "Can you get this done by the end of the day?" (gets me every time).
