My first job was working on weekends as a dishwasher in a local restaurant when I was 13. It was hard work and long hours for a teenager. We typically worked from 5pm to midnight both Friday and Saturday and then again on Sunday morning. What are the best and worst parts of your job? The best part of my job is work- ing with and developing great people. The worst? I don't see enough of my family. What's your dream job and why? Doing what I do. Being able to build businesses is both hugely rewarding and challenging. What's your most treasured possession? That's easy. My children. Where did you last go on holiday? I spent time with my family over Christmas in Koh Samui, Thailand. In the Hollywood film of your life, who would play you? I would say Kevin Spacey. My wife, on the other hand, might say the Invisible Man. Reveal something about yourself not many people know. I studied jazz piano at Leeds Col- lege of Music. What album is currently in your car CD player? It's an audio book that I take everywhere with me, called How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie. What's your favourite film and TV programme? I don't have a favourite film. The Good Wife is up there with my favourite TV shows. What quote or saying do you most overuse? I rarely quote anyone, but appar- ently I use the word "chief " a lot when talking to my colleagues. If you ruled the world, what would you do first?
