"If I ruled the world, I'd fine people for using corporate jargon" What was your first job? Sports reporter at the Surrey Mirror, which took me access-all-areas to the Athens Olympics in 2004. What are the best and worst parts of your job? Best: I get a very broad, privi- leged overview of what's going on across the entire business. Worst: We run a 24/7 press office, so being woken up by a journalist. What's your dream job and why? A builder, so I could build the huge extension my wife wants myself. What's your most treasured possession? My White Stripes poster/vinyl collection. Where did you last go on holiday? The Algarve with my family. In the Hollywood film of your life, who would play you? I heard Dimitar Berbatov wants to get into acting. Reveal something about yourself not many people know. I once scored four in an FA Cup qualifying match which landed me a trial at Southampton. What album is currently in your car CD player? I cycle, but I'm listening to The National a lot on my iPhone. What's your favourite film and TV programme? Film: One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest or Scarface. TV: Mad Men and Breaking Bad. What quote or saying do you most overuse? "We apologise for the disruption." If you ruled the world, what would you do first? I fully support WaterAid's goal for everyone, everywhere to have clean water, sanitation and hygiene, so I would make that happen. I'd also fine people for using corporate jargon. What's your favourite joke? I loved a flag on the Kop I saw recently, which said: "Luis Suarez could nutmeg a mermaid."
