After 12 years of planning and four
years of building, Southern Water
officially opened its state-of-the-art
wastewater treatment works in Peacehaven last week.
The plant is the jewel in the crown
of Southern's £300 million Cleaner
Seas for Sussex scheme, which treats
to European standards the 95 million
litres of wastewater produced each
day along the south coast from Peacehaven to Hove.
