Formed in 2015 to deliver
non-infrastructure and
MEICA contracts to the UK
water sector, Enisca Browne
has brought together the
skills of parent companies
Enisca and J Browne,
promoting a culture of
delivering work safely,
efficiently and in a collabora-
tive manner.
Enisca is a specialised
MEICA service provider with
an extensive in-house
manufacturing and engineer-
ing capability operating
throughout the UK and
Ireland, aiming to deliver
innovative, sustainable and
quality solutions.
J Browne Construction, a
family-run business started in
1971, is an experienced water
utility contractor with an
extensive civil engineering
capability in London and the
South East and has a strong
focus on health and safety.
With both businesses
having already worked with
South East Water in AMP5,
Enisca Browne began work
for the company as a joint
venture in AMP6, and the
non-infrastructure and
MEICA frameworks have now
been extended until at least
2025, with the potential for a
further extension to 2030.
The work involves the civil
and mechanical design,
construction, refurbishment
and commissioning of water
treatment works and pumping
stations across South East
Water's supply area, which
covers 2.2 million people.
"Collaborating as a
partnership ensures we can
innovate on the latest
technologies and methods in
the industry, helping provide
an excellent service for our
customers, both now and as
part of a sustainable future
for water," South East Water's
head of engineering,
Desmond Brown, said when
confirming Enisca Browne's
recent contract extension.
