Targeting the most rigorous efficiency standards ever achieved by a building retrofit, HouseZero has almost zero energy required for heat- ing and cooling; 100 per cent natural ventilation; 100 per cent daylight autonomy (no daytime electric light); and zero carbon emissions, including embodied energy in materials. The building will adjust itself sea- sonally, and even daily, to reach ther- mal comfort targets for its occupants. Positive prototype Operations & Assets
