On Wednesday 13 June, the Race
Bank offshore windfarm, which is 50
per cent owned by Orsted, officially
opened. Race Bank, off the North
Norfolk coast, is capable of generating
573MW from its 91 turbines.
It is operated from Orsted's East
Coast Hub in Grimsby – the UK's
largest offshore wind operations
and maintenance base. The pro-
ject features a new way of carrying
