Severn Trent is investing £60 million
to improve water and waste services in
Newark, its largest investment in the
East Midlands in this AMP period.
Twenty-four kilometres of new and
improved water and sewer pipes will
be installed, and the company says
that when work is complete in 2020,
more than 400 homes and businesses
will be safer from sewer flooding.
The company is using boring
