Available with aluminium and stainless steel valve bod- ies and with many solenoid options, the 551 and 553 series are certifi ed for use in safe areas and Ex zones and in functional safety loops such as may be found on LNG ves- sels and tankers. This broad range of applications makes it easier to standardise on one solenoid valve, simplifying on- board maintenance. Emerson is the only supplier of its type to off er valves which are both DNV-GL and SIL approved. The versatile on/ off valve has a stainless steel body & ball and PFTE seals with viton 'O' ring, with an operating temperature range of -20°C to +160°C and can be used in a wide variety of environments. The full bore A351-CF8M ball valve features BSP parallel female/ female end connections. API 608 Floating ball valve Bonomi has expanded its Valpres ball valve range with the introduction of API 608 Floating Ball Valves. The API 608 range incorporates a number of useful features including increased thick- ness and oversized driving train. These characteristics, together with construction from high performance materials, make these valves ideal for severe and demanding environments and particularly reliable in actuation applications.
