Pioneering community-owned solar
project Westhill Solar Park in Wiltshire
has appointed BSR to manage the
scheme aer a completive tender.
Westhill was the first community-
owned energy project in the UK and
the largest when it was commissioned.
The 5MW plant was built in 2011 and
taken over by the co-operative the fol-
lowing year. All 1,500 members of the
co-operative share project revenues
and have a say in how it is run. The
