An innovative project developed by
Cambridge Water and the University of
Cambridge has been shortlisted for two
industry awards. Both acknowledge the
development of the UK's largest rain-
water harvesting system at Eddington,
which is part of the North West Cam-
bridge Development (NWCD), a newly
constructed district of Cambridge.
The NWCD has been shortlisted in
the Environment category of the Utility
Week Awards 2017 for its rainwater
harvesting initiative. In addition, the
project has been shortlisted in the
water management category of the
Edie Sustainability Leaders awards.
The winners will be announced in
December and January respectively.
