PAG fi xed fl ow pumps AxFlow has introduced Gruppo Aturia's PAG range of semi-submersible mixed fl ow pumps to its portfolio. The Aturia PAG range comprises vertical single, multistage mixed-fl ow and semi-axial pumps, all of which are suit- able for use in both wet and dry pits. The pumps can deliver fl ows of up to 44,000 m3/hr and diff erential heads of up to 120m. They are available in a large range of materials; closed and open impellers can be fi tted depending on the applica- tion and several types of sha bearing supports are available. OTHER TOP PICKS FOR PUMPS Next month: Monitoring and metering THE DETAILS WMFTG 630 and 730 peristaltic pumps ● process pumps for chemical dosing applications ● Isolates fl uid and off ers reliable metering - fl ow range of up to 55 L/min ● four drive options ● Up to 3600:1 speed control range ● 3-level PIN lock gives additional security What it is: Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Group (WMFTG) has completed its range of peristaltic process pumps by adding two larger models. The existing 530 model is joined by the 630 and 730, featuring an enhanced operator and control system interface. What it does: With no valves or seals in the product stream and an unrivaled fl ow turndown, Watson- Marlow 530, 630, and 730 peristaltic pumps play an increasingly important role for the reliable metering of aggressive and shear- sensitive fl uids without contamination. The pumped fl uid is totally contained within the tube, providing complete isolation of the fl uid. What's good about it: The process pumps are designed to reduce downtime, optimise metering and off er the ultimate in process fl exibility – one range of pumps for all fl ow demands. Flow range extends from microlitres up to 55 L/min with the 730. Both the new 630 and 730 are available with four drive options; accuracy and process integrity comes via a new, simple-to-use HMI requiring minimal key presses. The Knowledge Products: pumps and pumping systems 30 | AUGUST 2017 | WWT | www.wwtonline.co.uk Xylem Lowara ecocirc Xylem has updated its Lowara brand ecocirc BASIC and PREMIUM circulators, which are suited for both HVAC and domestic applica- tions. The pumps are fi tted with an improved cast iron pump housing, which thanks to the cataphoresis coating, is fully resistant against cor- rosion. The new housing not only improves reliability and effi ciency, but also perfor- mance, with the pumps now capable of functioning in the most demanding condi- tions and environments. A spherical rotor and single bearing means the pumps are effi cient and quiet. QED Autopump Ultra 4.5 Q.E.D. Environmental Systems has launched its new Autopump Ultra 4.5 for landfi lls, featuring technol- ogy that eases wear, clean- ing and maintenance. The most unique feature of the pump is its increased clear- ance between the fl oat and discharge tube (three times the clearance of the previous version), as well as increased clearance between the fl oat and outer casing. This allows for more high solids and precipitate to be pumped without the pump stalling, extending usage between cleaning and maintenance breaks. PRODUCT OF THE MONTH
