8 Partnership Initiative of the Year Winner Bristol Water For creating a 'pop-up' Water Bar that it can take to festivals and community events. The bar not only promotes tap water, but it has put the company at the heart of the community, and helped reduce the amount of plastic litter and waste. FINALIST: D r Cymru Welsh Water and the Your Community Treatment Works initiative, which engaged with schools and community groups to instil behaviours over the correct use of wastewater disposal. FINALIST: Northumbrian Water Group's Every Drop Counts campaign combines targeted advertising and community-based marketing to meet the group's objective of maximising participation in its water effi ciency projects. FINALIST: South West Water's Love Your Loo campaign encourages customers to change their bathroom behaviours and – Love Your Loo – to encourage customers to fl ush only the 3Ps (pee, paper and poo) to help reduce blockages and sewer fl ooding. FINALIST: South West Water and Wadebridge Renewable Energy Network collaborated on the Nanstallon Community Solar Project. FINALIST: Thames Water invested £221K in reinstating the Firs Farm Wetlands plus 1,352 hours of Thames staff volunteered as part of the 'time to give' employee volunteer programme to provide interesting, natural features for the local community. FINALIST: Wessex Water wanted to put pressure on manufacturers and retailers of "fl ushable" wipes and educate customers. It compiled a detailed evidence report that was sent to the Advertising Standards Authority, and a media campaign was developed to maximise awareness. Winner Thames Water and Lanes Group For launching the customer solution centre, where all the expertise needed is around a single desk to diagnose problems. Staff from the two companies are working together inblended teams for the fi rst time. FINALIST: Anglian Water, EA, Essex County Council and Castle Point Borough Council, which found innovative ways to fund and improve Canvey's drainage infrastructure FINALIST: One Severn Trent for its work a £43M scheme to renew the Ambergate Strategic Service Reservoir, which could only be taken offl ine for very brief periods. FINALIST: Scottish Water and CRIS for creating a fully integrated performance improvement platform within delivery alliances CWA and aBV, together with Tier1 contractors amey/WGM/George Leslie/Ross-hire and Mackenzie. FINALIST: Severn Trent Water and ECAS created a sustainable approach to reducing the impact of sewer fl ooding, caused by the discharge of FOG,. FINALIST: South Staffs Water, Integrated Water Services and atg UV Technology for their work on upgrading Seedy Mill surface water treatment works. The project sets a new benchmark for co-operation and collaboration. FINALIST: Thames Water's Infrastructure Alliance for forming the Developer Services Major Projects to address the growth-related needs of major housebuilders. FINALIST: Water Innovation Network driven by Anglian Water Allia and Opportunity Peterborough brings together the water supply chain and industry to fi nd solutions to transform today's water industry. Community Project of the Year What the judges said: "This initiative was totally customer-focused. It would have a positive impact on employees and customers by ensuring all staff are united towards a common goal" What the judges said: "This is a simple but innovative approach to solving an industry-wide problem. What is more, it is highly successful in promoting the value of water"
