in Aqaba is an
affirmation that
Jordan and specifically
the Gulf of Aqaba
are places where
desalination projects
can be built and operate
effectively. The project
marks a jumping off point
for the country from which
it can continue to develop
a desalination programme,
including the much-
anticipated Red Sea-Dead
Sea project.
