fih carbon budget by
the Committee on Climate
Change highlighted the use
of low carbon heat networks.
It said they were a key tool to
help ensure the UK meets its
overarching carbon objectives.
Heat networks are particularly
suitable for densely populated
urban areas where heat demands
are large and multiple buildings
can be served by a single
network. Heat networks provide
not only significant carbon
savings but they can also provide
affordable heating, helping
tackle fuel poverty.
