the use of a very modern technol-
ogy – unmanned air vehicles, better
known as drones – and come up with
spectacular photographs of some of
its grandest old assets, like this one of
the Howden Reservoir, construction
on which started in 1901.
One end of the Y-shaped reservoir
is in Derbyshire, while the eastern
half is in South Yorkshire. The county
