Finalist: Lightsout Computer Services and Laing O'Rourke for their Corona mobile workƒ ow management so„ ware system that improves the e• ciency of groundworks. Finalist: Morrison Utility Services for its Streetworks Safety scheme where bespoke, smart, digital solutions, such as 3D scanning, smartphone technology, and a cable avoidance app, reduced workforce injuries. Finalist: Nomenca for its Can We Do It Safer? programme where safety coaches enter sites to record normal working activities. The footage is played to the site team to generates solutions based on the footage. Finalist: Northumbrian Water Group for its Lone Worker Protection initiative comprising a new procedure and associated guidance documents. Finalist: Severn Trent Water, NMC, Mott MacDonald-Bentley, Costain and MWH Treatment for their Safety Performance Improvement programme, focusing on low/high frequency tasks that were not considered dangerous but caused the most accidents. What the judges said: "This scheme is impressive. It's something out of the ordinary, and goes beyond business-as-usual health and safety. We also liked the interactive approach" Finalist: A• nity Water, with PN Daly and Save Water Save Money, for developing a Water Saving Programme to meet the challenge of supplying a growing population, while reducing abstractions. Finalist: Anglian Water has implemented the 172 Process, a seven- step process that challenges the traditional assumptions concerning leakage, and the techniques used to prioritise areas for proactive detection. Finalist: Northumbrian Water Group invested £150M on its Abberton Reservoir scheme near Colchester. The scheme included increasing the reservoir capacity. Finalist: Severn Trent Water has made a step change in how it organises interventions on its Strategic Water Grid. Outages and restrictions on water treatment works are now planned and connecting infrastructure was required to drive its Cleanest Water Plan. Finalist: Southern Water customers across Kent, Sussex and Hampshire are saving 27 million litres of water daily following its ¡ ve- year programme to install 450,000 meters, which ended in December. Finalist: University College Cork and the Intelligent E• ciency Research Group have developed a methodology for determining the true value of a water system. What the judges said: "Thames' Our Smarter Home Visit scheme has got impact and scale of resources. It's extremely di• cult to e• ect behaviour change but this scheme proves it can be done" Winner Thames Water For its Our Smarter Home Visit initiative involving retro¡ tting water-saving devices and giving individually tailored water-saving advice to households in London and the Thames Valley.
