Eon recently announced the com-
pletion of architectural works at
Blackburn Meadows Biomass Plant in
Sheffield, which has been designed
to provide a striking new landmark
at the gateway to the city – much like
the Tinsley Towers that stood on the
site for almost 70 years until they were
demolished in 2008.
Working with architectural partner
BDP, Eon's design strategy was to cre-
ate a landmark structure reflecting the
Orange is the
new black
