One of two nuclear reactors at EDF
Energy's Torness power station in
East Lothian was expected to return
to service on 30 September aer
being taken out of service for a major
maintenance programme.
More than 500 extra workers have
joined the power station's 750 staff
and contract partners during the
reactor's statutory outage, helping to
carry out more than 12,000 separate
pieces of work.
