Who's it for: The pumps have been designed for use in construction, civil engineering and utility projects, on either flooded suction or standard automatic priming applications. They have been developed for the challenging conditions associated with bentonite, a clay-like material widely used in construction. What's new: The b150 range incorporates a number of features in response to customer feedback allowing faster and easier set-up on site. The rotary vane vacuum pump priming system delivers fully automatic self- priming from dry and rapid re-priming where required, while the innovative priming shut off valve enables configuration without the use of a blanking plate; there is a simple lever to switch off the automatic priming function and enable flooded suction operation. The system is impressively lightweight, weighing in at just under 1433kg (diesel) or 1050kg (electric). BBA Pumps BA300E The new bA300e wastewater pump, recently launched by BBA Pumps, is a 12" dewatering and sewage pump which can claim to be the most compact in its class, measuring just 3x1 metres in size. It is 20cm narrower, 35cm shorter and 20cm lower than its predecessor, the BA300K, and boasts 10% less energy consumption. It features a high-end, user-friendly Lc30 control panel for maximum control, and is perfect for use in sewer bypass projects in urban environments where space is limited, according to bbA. NOV Mono Munchpump The Munchpump packaged system from NoV Mono is a combined macerator and transfer pump featuring a Mono eZstrip transfer pump alongside a Mono SB Muncher. Ideal for wastewater applications which require the elimination of solids prior to transfer, the system uses only 1.5kW motors, ensuring energy efficiency. The transfer pumps feature eZstrip technology which allows them to be 'maintained- in-place' providing a quick and easy way to disassemble and maintain the pumps in-situ, and dramatically shortening maintenance operations. SEEPEX 2-stage SCT SeePeX's latest update to its Smart Conveyancing Technology (SCT) provides a number of benefits for the control of its progressive cavity pumps, used in potable water and many other applications. In addition to the well- established 1-stage design for pressures up to 4 bar, SCT is now available in a 2-stage design for pressures up to 8 bar. The 2-stage design has the same features as 1-stage ScT: a stator split into two halves, which can be removed from the rotor without dismantling suction or discharge pipework, a quick release rotor, and an intelligent re-tensioning system.
