It works with utility companies, authorities and private organisations under a wide range of contractual agreements. Its services cover flood prevention, flood alleviation projects and stormwater run-off solutions covering SuDS (Sustainable Drainage Systems). The company has completed projects for water companies including Thames Water, Southern Water, South West Water, Bristol Water and Wessex Water. Recent schemes include a new buried package sewage treatment located near Ditchling in East Sussex for 4Delivery. The project was required to meet an EA change of consent that catered for a planned increase in population to the surrounding area. Another project has been for Black & Veatch, and involved upgrading Long Crendon Sewage Treatment Works. Dyer & Butler delivered key upgrade work to the existing sewage treatment Works at Long Crendon, which was commissioned as mitigation against the risk of failure. The project comprised construction of a new primary filter, distribution chamber, collection chamber, pipe-work and inner valves. The works also included full depth reconstruction of the existing access road and new footpath construction.
