Anaerobic digestion specialist Andigestion has announced that it has appointed Jon Stait as plant manager at its new Bishops Cleeve site in Gloucestershire. Stait will be responsible for directing and coordinating the daily running of the plant and will be recruiting six new employees to work on the site in the future. The plant has recently started to process food waste from household collections and taken the first collections from local schools. Stait said: "It is an exciting opportunity as the facility is brand new and the technology we are using is state-of-the-art. We are now up and running, and working hard to ensure the plant is at full capacity as soon as possible."
