A major project to increase the capac-
ity of Penwhirn reservoir, which serves
communities throughout Wigtown-
shire, Scotland, has been completed.
Scottish Water has invested £8
million on Penwhirn to increase its
capacity by almost 40 per cent by
raising the height of the existing dam
by 1.5 metres.
