More information: www.utilityweeklive.co.uk Reader of the week Sarah France, head of catchment management, WRc "Engineers believe that if it ain't broke, it doesn't have enough features yet" What was your first job? A crew member in McDonald's during holidays from university – I spent most of my time serv- ing on the till or Ajaxing (other cream cleaners are available) the stainless steel. What are the best and worst parts of your job? The best part is working with my fantastic team and support- ive colleagues. The worst part is the commute up the M4. What's your dream job and why? I love cooking and seeing others enjoy eating what I have cooked, so my dream job would be something associated with food. What's your most treasured possession? My own engagement and wedding rings, followed by my grandmother's engagement and wedding rings. In the Hollywood film of your life, who would play you? I asked my colleagues for suggestions. Answers varied from Julia Roberts to Velma from Scooby Doo. The one l liked the best was a young Judi Dench. What album is currently in your car CD player? I generally listen to Radio 3 on the way to work, and Radio 5 on the way home. What's your favourite film and TV programme? Film: Finding Nemo. TV: Strictly Come Dancing. What quote or saying do you most overuse? "Onwards and upwards." If you ruled the world, what would you do first? Sack all politicians who make decisions based on rhetoric, not sound evidence, and who don't properly consider the impact of their decisions on the most disadvantaged in society. What's your favourite joke? Normal people believe that if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Engineers believe that if it ain't broke, it doesn't have enough features yet (I'm a chemist).
