John Linton's image of a windfarm
bagged the Best Photography Award
at the 2014 Scottish Green Energy
Awards, held at the EICC in Edinburgh
last week.
The photograph was of a turbine at
SSE's Cathkin Braes windfarm, where
the Commonwealth Games mountain
bike track is located above Glasgow.
Two other finalists were Noel Cum-
mins and Tommy Docherty (right).
