He was previously commissioner of police from 2010 and was director of the singapore prisons service from 2007 to 2009. His predecessor as puB chief, Chew Men Leong, has been appointed as chief executive of the land transport authority, effective 1 october. Based in Dubai, united arab emirates, nikhil has over seven years' experience in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning and district cooling experience in the region. linDen wins water reuse aCColaDe professor Karl Linden of the university of Colorado Boulder, and a fellow of the australian water recycling Centre of excellence has won the 2014 watereuse person of the Year at the australian watereuse association's 2014 symposium in Dallas, texas. as well as being a leader in research and education in water reuse for over a decade, linden has a long history of working with the industry. the australian water recycling Centre of excellence and Melbourne water nominated him for the award due to his expertise in advanced disinfection and oxidation processes which he has applied to the western Corridor advanced treatment scheme in Queensland.
