Anglian Water has finished work on
its new water treatment works at
Raithby, near Louth in Lincolnshire.
The new works will replace the exist-
ing facility, which is nearing the end
of its operational life.
When it became apparent that the
old works needed to be upgraded or
replaced, the project team was chal-
lenged to build a new plant using the
same amount of embodied carbon and
cost as the refurbishment would need.
