To support our future growth and expansion, we are now recruiting for the following key roles. All roles are permanent, full time positions based at our offices in Antrim. Regulatory Affairs Manager (fe/14/17) Reporting to the Director of Regulation and Pricing, the Regulatory Affairs Manager will be responsible for analysing, interpreting, assessing and creating strategies regarding government policy, regulatory proceedings and the existing and future market rules of the gas and electricity market in Northern Ireland. This role will require representing firmus energy's interests before the Utility Regulator, CCNI, DETI, and other parties as well as providing regulatory oversight and management to firmus energy's overall business. Key responsibilities include: • Management of the Regulatory Affairs Team • Manage regulatory developments and advise on impact to the business • Maintain and oversee team's knowledge of gas and electricity market rules • Manage and monitor regulatory requirements • Establish and maintain contacts with the Utility Regulator, government departments, CCNI, DETI and other relevant stakeholders Natural Gas Transportation Services Manager (fe/14/15) Reporting to the Director of Regulation and Pricing, the Transportation Services Manager will be responsible for managing and developing contractual arrangements for gas transportation services, ensuring transparency and consistency for all shippers in our network area. The post holder will manage the relationship relating to the role with the Utility Regulator, Consumer Council, DETI, and other parties. Additionally, they will manage a key role in shipper services, conveyance charge setting and distribution price control reviews. Key responsibilities include: • Management of the Transportation Services Team • Responsibility for all aspects of market opening • Development and maintenance of firmus energy's Network Code • Development and maintenance of distribution framework ensuring compliance with legal, licence and commercial requirements • Development and maintenance of consistent market arrangements for transportation services across NR/ROI • Manage correlation of projected volumes/peaks with shipper estimations Pricing & Risk Manager (fe/14/16) Reporting to the Director of Regulation & Pricing, the Pricing & Risk Manager will manage firmus energy's pricing team and risk activities for electricity and gas in Northern Ireland. The role will also be responsible for the on-going development and maintenance of firmus energy's risk and energy purchasing strategy. Key responsibilities include: • Management of the Pricing & Risk Team • Management and development of energy price risk and tactical purchasing policies • Management of pricing risk and trading strategy development across the company • New product development • Management and maintenance of operational risk framework, processes and management information Natural Gas Transportation Services Officer (fe/14/14) Reporting to the Transportation Services Manager within the Regulatory and Pricing Department, the Gas Transportation Services Officer will be responsible for supporting the day to day activities within the Gas Transportation Services team to ensure transparency and consistency for all Gas Suppliers operating on the 10 Towns Network and reporting to the Utility Regulator, CCNI, DETI and other parties. Key Responsibilities include: • Assist in the on-going development of systems and processes • Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders including other natural gas Suppliers • Provide support to customer switching to facilitate escalation of queries • Input to Distribution billing processes • Support telemetry monitoring processes • Report on forecast and actual volumes • Work closely with Shipper Services and Operations regarding Network Management • Ensure compliance with legal, licence and commercial requirements Applications which must include job reference number, current CV and salary expectations should be sent to Roger Gilpin at Gilpin Executive Search (roger.gilpin@gilpinesd.com).
