The Manx Electricity Authority is a statutory board of the Isle of Man Government and generates,
transmits, distributes and supplies electricity to Isle of Man consumers under the terms of IoM
Electricity Act.
MEA's assets include a dual fuel CCGT plant, diesel plants, hydro station, AC subsea interconnector
to the UK, a natural gas pipeline supplied from the Scottish-Irish interconnector, together with
transmission and distribution systems.
