Formed in 1992, the Energy Saving Trust is a social enterprise with a charitable Foundation.
Through its partnerships the Energy Saving Trust offers impartial advice to communities and
households on how to reduce carbon emissions, use water more sustainably and save money on
energy bills.
Energy Saving Trust works with governments, local authorities, third sector organisations and
businesses on activities which include:
• delivering or managing government programmes
• testing low-carbon technology
• certification and assurance for businesses and consumer goods
• developing energy saving models and tools.
Its work as a Foundation seeks partners that are committed to helping everyone reduce their
impact on climate change and dependency on carbon-emitting fuel.
