Rocksavage Power Co Ltd, an affiliate of InterGen, was formed to develop, construct and own
Rocksavage Power Station. Construction began in April 1996 and the station began commercial
operation in early 1998. The majority of the station capacity is sold under long-term contracts to
Ineos Chlor and Scottish and Southern Energy plc.
