I organised professional assessments all around the country. What are the best and worst parts of your job? The best part of my job is that I get to promote those responsible for designing and building awe-inspiring structures such as the Olympic Velodrome and the Sydney Opera House. The downside with working in media is the difficulty in measuring the value of media coverage. What's your dream job and why? I'd like to have a book published. Working in a press office producing all sorts of written material for publication has given me a taste of the satisfaction you would feel seeing the result of your time and effort appear in print. What's your most treasured possession? Photographs of family, friends and travels – past and present. Where did you last go on holiday? Cyprus. In the Hollywood film of your life, who would play you? Worryingly, when I did a quiz online it suggested Al Pacino. Reveal something about your- self not many people know. I am terrible at maths. What album is currently in your car CD player? My iPod is always set on shuffle for the surprise factor. What's your favourite film and TV programme? On TV I like nature document- aries. Film: Star Wars. What quote or saying do you most overuse? "By the same token…" If you ruled the world, what would you do first? World peace might be a tall order, but I would try, somehow, to make everyone be just a bit nicer to each other. What's your favourite joke? Geordie comedian Ross Noble always tickles me. Subscriber of the week Kate Ison, media relations manager, Institution of Civil Engineers
