Balfour Beatty's power team in Scotland is celebrating the half way point
in the construction of the BeaulyDenny transmission link on behalf of
Scottish Hydro Electric Transmission,
part of SSE.
The erection of the 267th tower
means that half of the total of 537 new
towers along the 200km route are now
complete. Three associated schemes
will see over 100km of overhead line
dismantled and removed.
