Mike still plays in an original rock band, writes music, and also occasionally rock climbs What was your first job? In a rock band. What are the best and worst parts of your job? Best part: working with client business teams to help them deliver great service to customers and maximise the performance of assets. Worst part: travel delays on the train, road, plane… What's your dream job? Playing music (I still play in an original rock band). What's your most treasured possession? A 1978 Ludwig Black Beauty snare drum. What album is currently in your car CD player? Little Boots, Nocturnes. What's your favourite film and TV programme? Film: depending on my mood, either Die Hard or Lord of the Rings. TV: probably whatever is the current (generally BBC) nature programme, but I do have a liking for police shows such as Road Wars. What quote or saying do you most overuse? We have two ears and one mouth and should use them in that proportion. Overused, perhaps, but not bad at all. If you ruled the world, what would you do first? I'd be happy to be in a position to improve the world, but I really do not want to rule anyone. What's your favourite joke? None in particular; I like comed ians who do life observations.
