Wade miller stepping doWn as Watereuse direCtor the executive director of the Watereuse association and the Watereuse research Foundation, g Wade miller, announced on 8 august 2013 his resignation from the two organizations effective 31 march 2014. the Watereuse leadership will begin a search for miller's successor immediately. miller was appointed as the first full-time executive director on 1 august 2000 and established an office in the Washington dC area. the association has grown to include seven state sections and an international division in australia. the foundation has leveraged nearly us$ 50 million to conduct more than 160 research projects over the past 13 years, directly impacting water scarcity throughout the world with the knowledge it has produced. "serving as executive director of these two fine organizations and watching them grow and expand in size and influence has been a tremendously rewarding experience for me," miller said.
