blocking biomethane
use in transport sector
Government efforts to distribute the
use of biomethane are being "wrongly"
funnelled into the generation of
electricity and heat, rather than the
transport sector.

Blaming
Government
for
its
misdistribution, Harris said internal
Government conflicts are restricting the
use of biomethane in the sector, which
could potentially decarbonise heavy
truck fleets.
With Government-led incentives, one
feedstock that could help accelerate
biomethane production for the transport
sector is food waste, says ADBA's chief
executive Charlotte Morton.
She said that 60% of the potential
feedstock in the future could come
