Laser
Laser is the largest energy-buying group in the South East and one of the UK's largest purchasers
of renewable energy, managing contracts worth more than £430m per annum for a membership
of 120 public, voluntary and charity organisations.
Laser's green electricity purchases currently reduce its members' CO2 emissions by about 140,000
tonnes per annum. However, the service also includes a unique energy management system, energy audits and advice on introducing low-cost energy efficiency measures such as LED lighting
replacement programmes. Laser also sources grant funding for, and manages the installation of,
renewable energy projects.
