Sustainability Live 2013
It's showtime!
Energy, water and waste management are
the three cornerstones of a resource-efficient business, which is why Sustainability
Live has three distinct flavours for visitors looking to drive efficiencies, boost
the bottom line and decrease their carbon footprint.
Iwex is dedicated to water, Nemex to
energy management and the new Energyfrom-Waste Expo catering to a specific
tranche of the waste/energy sector.
Taking place on April 16-18 at
Birmingham's NEC, more than 6,000
visitors are expected through the doors
over three days. And, with 300 exhibitors and six seminar theatres showcasing
sessions from more than 250 speakers
(all of which are CPD-accredited) it is a
must-attend event for anyone and everyone involved in the energy use, water
consumption or waste output of their
business.
In Nemex, for example, there are two
energy theatres covering topics from
behaviour change and engagement to
policy, Energy Market Reform and the
Green Deal. With so much going on,
show director Donna Bushell says it's
tough to single out individual sessions for
attention: "With more than 100 speakers
[in the two energy theatres alone] it's dif-
ficult to list all the highlights, but we've
got speakers from DECC and some of
the big energy suppliers running sessions, including npower, SSE, Western
Power Distribution, British Gas and
EDF. And from a personal point of view,
