22 | 24TH - 30TH JANUARY 2020 | UTILITY WEEK High viz Work has started on onshore cable infra- structure for the Dogger Bank offshore wind farm in the North Sea. The 3.6GW wind farm will be the world's largest when it is commissioned in the mid-2020s. It comprises three equally sized projects – Creyke Beck A , Creyke Beck B and Teesside A. Jones Bros Civil Engineering won the contract for the onshore cabling, and the company has started work on infrastructure to support the Creyke Beck A and Creyke Beck B sites. It will also carry out earth- works at the sites of onshore HVDC conver- tor stations in East Riding. Jones Bros will install about 32km of cables in ducts laid in trenches.
