off Pier 17 in real time.
A series of sensors, part of a
Fluidion Alert system, take samples
of the water and test and analyse
them for levels of salinity, toxins and
harmful pathogens. The LED sculp-
ture glows teal when pathogens are
present in the water but levels are safe
for swimming, but turns pink when
