The supplement features pro les and nancial analysis of the leading performers based on turnover, net margin, return on capital, sales per employee, operating margin and more, utilising the most recent set of accounts made available at Companies House. There have been some changes among the companies included in this year's edition. These include the return of MWH Treatment, which was revived late last year a€ er Stantec opted to sell its construction division and re-focus its attentions on consultancy. Among those making way are Dawnus Construction, which entered administration in March. The Swansea-based company made a pre-tax loss of £1.35 million in its 2017 accounts and administrator Grant Thornton UK LLP said the rm had "struggled with a wide variety of challenges". It remains a testing time for the sector, with Interserve also entering administration this year, but there are indications that a number of companies are nding ways to navigate through their struggles and emerge with the more e— cient business models they require.
